Finnish and infra saunas

Centuries of Finnish experience cannot be wrong. The Finnish sauna warms the body and soul, a real relaxation and regeneration. It dilates the blood vessels, stimulates the metabolism and cleanses the body of toxins through perspiration. It trains the heart, improves blood circulation and strengthens the immune system. The temperature in the Finnish sauna ranges between 70 and 100 degrees Celsius. The Finnish sauna works on the surface of the skin. About 97% of what leaves the body through perspiration is water and about 3% is toxins, so hydration after a sauna is very important.
Infrared saunas have their benefits at lower temperatures. It is also an excellent alternative to the Finnish sauna in case of heart disease, high blood pressure or epilepsy. Infrared saunas work at 40-60 degrees Celsius. It does not heat the air but the body of the person taking the sauna, so it has a more direct sweating, detoxifying and cleansing effect. The infrared rays penetrate the deeper layers of the skin, working at a cellular level for greater effectiveness. Its detoxifying effect is extremely high.

Bucket shower

The bucket shower is the perfect complement to your sauna experience, providing an instant, cooling refreshment. After your sauna session, take time for a simple, light shower to help relax muscles and reduce tension in overstretched muscles. It also regenerates sore muscles, relaxes them and improves their flexibility. This can reduce muscle stiffness after a busy sauna experience, even after several rounds of sauna. The cold shower improves blood circulation after a hot sauna session, stimulates the vascular and lymphatic system and the immune cells, thus strengthening the body in the fight against infections. Regular hot/cold alternating baths can reduce the chances of developing diseases. It’s a good idea to do it regularly, as it will help you sleep more restfully and leave your skin shinier and softer.

Cold therapy (Cryotherapy)

Cryotherapy, also known as cold therapy, is a special treatment method that uses extremely low temperatures on different parts of the body to heal. The effects of extremely low temperatures on the body are multifaceted and highly effective. When the skin is exposed to cold, the nervous system reacts quickly and blood vessels contract to minimise heat loss. This process also improves blood circulation as the body later tries to adapt and warm up the cooled areas. Cryotherapy also helps reduce inflammation and oedema and stimulates the production of endorphins, natural painkillers. It is excellent for chronic pain management, anti-inflammation, sports rehabilitation and last but not least for maintaining mental and physical well-being.

Kneipp-pool

Sebastian Kneipp recognised that if we want to heal, it is not enough to look at the disease, but to look at the person as a whole, the mind and body as a whole (as dictated by the teachings of holistics). The five pillars of his healing method and philosophy are phytotherapy, hydrotherapy, dietetics, movement therapy and physical and mental balance. These five basic theses have long been known to scientists, and hydrotherapy, the healing power of water, has been known since ancient times. Phytotherapy is based on the use of carefully selected, plant-based medicinal products, which have been used since the ancient East. Dietetics means a balanced healthy diet, rich in fibre, fibre fibre, vitamins, which, together with regular exercise, not only supports healthy body weight, circulatory system and heart function, but also has a positive effect on mental functioning. Thus, the fifth element of Kneipp’s philosophy, physical and mental balance, is put into place.

Jacuzzi

The jacuzzi is the most effective stress relieving wellness service and it is also very good for your health. The jacuzzi does all this without you even noticing. The tiny air bubbles trigger the body’s self-healing processes. As the massaging action of the bubbles relaxes the mind, the body can focus even more on healing. And in the process, a balance between body and mind is achieved, leaving you feeling recharged after a bath. Important information: hot tub bathing is also particularly beneficial for diabetics. One study found that people with diabetes who regularly relaxed in a hot tub reported feeling much better. The high temperature of jacuzzi water regenerates muscles by default. It also relieves pressure on the joints.
